Head Start
  Head Start is a federal pogram for preschool children. Head Start provides children with activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally and physically.

Coastal Georgia Area Community Action Authority, Inc. sponsors the Head Start program in the nine (9) coastal counties of Bryan, Camden, Evans, Glynn, Liberty, Long, Tattnall and Wayne. The Head Start program provides services receive free medical and dental care. Meals and snacks are also provided. Extended hours may be provided as needed. All Head Start centers are licensed by the Department of Human Rescources.

Family Child Care Homes
  Coastal Georgia Community Action Authority, Incorporated sponsors Family Child Care Homes in McIntosh County. Licensed provides serve six (6) children in their home setting.

Daily lessons are provided in addition to meals funded by Children and Adult Care Food Program.

Coastal Georgia Area Community Action Authority, Inc. is funded to serve forty-eight (48) children between the ages of six (6) weeks to three (3) years of age.

Day Care
  The Camden County Day Care program provides a quality, comprehesive early childhood development program to low-income children and their families. The Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) determines eligibility and private pay families are also accepted.

Children between the ages of three (3) months to five (5) years are served. Transportation, meals and educational activities are provided. The program provides services to families enabling them to become to become less dependent on public assistance and more self-supporting.

The Camden Day Care facility is licensed to serve 120 children.

Pre-K
  The Office of School Readiness (state lottery dollars) funds Coastal Georgia Area Community Action Agency, Incorporated to operate a Pre-K program is Liberty and Camden counties. Twenty (20) - four (4) year old are served in each county. Transportation, meals and quality developement activities are provided.
